I am planning on BR in January, at the moment all my cards are up to date and I am not being chased, I know that if I go on like this for a few months there is no way I can afford to pay them like I am as I am robbing Peter to pay Paul and that's what if keeping the 'wolf away from the door'. When should I stop paying them? assuming that I go BR in mid January.

if you have been paying up to date all along all as you will receive will be a statement next month pointing out you have missed a months payment and asking you to make this asap via a phone call you may get a call from one or two c card companies depending on your payment history and which companies they are but all in all you can probably get a breathing space of eight or so weeks more than enough time if you have thought it through decided BR is the right thing to do to go ahead and start again
