Posted - 12 December 2008 : 22:51:07 OK, just done my Outgoings on my BR form . Just wanted to check if they seem reasonable...
Housekeeping/food = £450 Mortgage = £493 (will be increasing considerably next May as changing to a capital re-payment, only on intrest-only at the mo) Gas/Electric = £79 Water = £42 telephone = £35 Travelling = £100 (£80 is fuel for husband, £20 for bus fares for me...lots of hospital journeys) Council Tax = £112
Other essential outgoings... Life/household insurance = £135 Car Tax and repairs = £20 Car insurance = £75 TV license = £12 Income protection insurance = £42 [i](am currently claiming redundancy cover from them so need to keep this on) Mobiles = £20 Pet = £20 Opticians = £20 Prescriptions = £8 Haircuts = £25 Domestic break =£80
TOTAL = 1768
This is for 2 adults, 1 child aged 17 months.(Plus baby on way so gotta buy things in preparation)
Our joint income is a total of £1654, however £76 of this is child benefit. I presume this means that we wont be given an IPA? Any advice greatly appreciated! |

Posted - 13 December 2008 : 08:53:23 Hi Daisy
That is starting to look ok to me. Domestic break may be a little too high for 3 of you, i think for 5 of us we were allowed £50.
Let me have a read through properly later and i will help you out.
