Posted - 24 January 2009 : 08:17:54 thankyou john,still slightly unclear if i volunteer fot redundancy after discharge is my pension and lump sum safe,and the agreement to pay my redundancy lump sum is it null and void if i take redundancy after discharge sometime in the future -sorry to be a pain -cheers

try and disassociate your redundancy and the pension as they are 2 totally seperate issues and have no impact on each other in bankruptcy.
If you volunteer for redundancy after discharge then any redundancy money is safe.
Your pension lump sum and monthly receipts cannot be touched if they are inland revenue approved. The OR will check this out well before discharge so if it is claimable by him he will already have done it.
Check with whosoever controls the fund if it is IR approved or not.
