If you go bankrupt, do local councils and housing associations take this as you making yourself homeless? What can a bankrupt person do to find housing for their family?

Thanks

Hi Haras33,

It would entirely depend on the circumstances. Are you going to be homeless? Don't automatically assume you'll lose your home if you go BR.

Hi haras and welcome to the forum

As TD has already said you will need a notice of eviction/repossession. Would it be possible for you to rent privately ?

Onwards and Upwards is the way im going :-0)

From "Moneyworries" to "Movin On" in 3 months is fantastic :-))

I think that they will help you if you have an eviction notice, either from your mortgage lender or landlord.
