Hi all.

Is the amount I pay the tax I pay from my wages at present, as when I filled out my SOA my wages were higher as I was doing a lot of overtime, however I am now only doing my basic hrs therfore the tax I pay is a lot less?
I put on my SOA £105 tax being deducted however actual amount at present is £9, is this the amount I pay?
Although I recieved a letter from HMRC 2 weeks ago my code has still not changed.

Thankyou

Michelle

Thanks for the reply John

All I,ve had is a letter from HMRC saying that it was their intention to supply a NT code to my employer, and a remittance slip from OR to send money to, but havn't signed anything.

Hi michelle

if you have yet to sign the necessary forms for an NT tax code you would not need to worry as chances are it's too late for the code to be set up.

All NT tax code arrangements cease at the end of the tax year and if the agreement is yet to be signed there will not be sufficient time to set it up.
