This morning was our bankruptcy hearing.

We got to court at 8.45 for our 9am appointment and were shown straight in to the office for a clerk to go through our statements. All was ok so we handed over the money (grrrr!) and she then took us through to the courts. We were only waiting for a couple of minutes before the judge called us in. She asked if we knew the implications of bankruptcy and if we had taken adivce. We answered yes on both counts and that was it!

We were out of the building three quarters of an hour after we got there, it was completely painless, the staff were very helpful and nice and we feel ...... odd! Odd because nothing has changed and I for one expected to feel differently. I guess it hasn't really settled in properly yet, but in time I will realise that I now no longer owe anyone a single penny :) How cool is that!
