Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone can help.
I sent off a claim a while back to claim back tax that I overpaid due to unclaimed child tax credit for the year 2002 - 2003.
I have just got a cheque back for £583 as I overpaid tax in that year.
I went bankrupt on the 10th of Feb, I totally forgot about this and did not include this in my any of my paperwork.
Am I right in thinking that I should let the OR know about this? and what are the chances of me keeping on to this?
I know that I shouldnt be entiltled to keep this but it would really come in handy.
Any thoughts would be great.
Thanks

Hi
yes you do need to inform the OR and the likelyhood is the OR will claim the sum.
