Posted - 13 March 2009 : 17:00:57 Hi, I am just filling out the forms online and have a couple of questions if anyone can help? When listing my bank accounts, what do I put as being the balance as it changes through the month? I have a current account with no overdraft and owe nothing to this bank. I also have a savings account with £150 in but this will likely be gone by the time I go to court as it is saved towards car mot. Also, for the amounts owed to creditors I have used the amounts stated on my IVA statement from January 2008, some of which are formal amounts and some of which still weren't confirmed by creditors at that point (IVA was started in January 2006), but after getting my Equifax report some of these amounts differ - one is actually a couple of thousand less! Which would be the best to use? I have contacted my IP company, but they say getting any paperwork to me will take a while. Many thanks Jo x |

Posted - 13 March 2009 : 18:00:46 HI Jo I've just read another thread put on by peterl and someone had posted that you do have to declare child benefit. Just to be on the safe side, put it all in your income and when you have your interview the examiner will say if it should be submitted or not. I know mine wasn't so yours shouldn't be either. sorry, didn't mean to give you duff advice before. Nat

Posted - 13 March 2009 : 17:50:06 Hi Jo You don't have to include child benefit and any child mainteance that you may get. All other benefits including tax credits have to be included. Just keep asking there's lots of people on here who will help. I found this site a godsend when i decided to go br. Once you've got through this bit it does start to get better. As i said in my last post, i hardly ever think about being br now and I'm half way through now!! Nat x |

Posted - 13 March 2009 : 17:29:17 Thanks for your help Nat. I also just had another thought where you fill in your income, under benefits recieved do you need to include housing benefit and council tax benefit as well as child benefit and tax credits? |

Posted - 13 March 2009 : 17:18:37 HI Jo List all your bank accounts regardless if there is any money in there. Just put the total of any monies as close to what you think they will be at that time. Just remember that if you need to take money out to live on do so as your bank account will most likely get frozen. As for the amounts for your outstanding credit, use the most up to date info that you have. You can explain in your intrview and the OR office will check all the details anyway.
