my wife and i hold basic card cash cards only accounts which we have our wages and direct debits taken from today we was made bankrupt and failing our iva of two yrs when we took the card cash cards from our bank im sure we told them that we was going through an iva at the time want we want to know is will these cards be frozen if so our do we get our wages out and pay our d/debits and get our weekly shop and gas and electric thanks

Hi

the chances are they will be frozen.

Inform your examiner asap and ask him to inform the bank that he has no interest in these accounts.
He will only do this if he is satisfied that the monies in the accounts are barely sufficient to meet your reasonable household expenditure for a period of no more than one month.

Assuming the examiner agrees you will be able to access the funds but you should check with the bank to establish whether or not they are willing to leave the accounts open.

If you owe any money to this particular bank then intervention by the examiner may be required to get the funds released. The bank is not entitled to the funds even if you do have a debt with them but getting them to release it may take some work on your and the examiners part.
