Hello
My BR hearing is a week today so I will be informing the Co-op at the end of this week and they will be temporarily (I hope!)freezing my Cashminder bank account. I have a feeling my CSA money will come through while my account is frozen. Could anyone tell me how easy it is to retrieve money which bounces back because the account is frozen? And also - how long does it take after BR before the Co-Op unfreezes the account for you?

Thanks.

Hi

You don't need to toell the bank you are going Br, the OR will do that but if you advise them that this basic account is the one that benefits are paid into then the coop are fantastic at not freezing / closing the account.

If you are in the Brighton area then things are different. The OR insists that all bank accounts are closed so the COOP have to close it and will reopen one for you afterwards
