Hi,

I am currently filling out the online forms for my bankruptcy hearing on Friday, and one area that I am a bit worried about is the employment and & present income section.

My concern is that I was an IT contractor but have now ceased trading so I am not earning anything, but I have not registered for benefits as I am moving to Ireland on Monday, where I will be applying for benefits (and looking for a job).

This means that my form shows that have absolutely no money coming in, but I do have expenditure.

I have read somewhere that the Judge can refuse to allow bankruptcy if it does not improve your situation and am worried that he may look at my I&E and not grant bankruptcy?

Am I worrying needlessly?

Cheers

Jez

Hi

use the section at the end to explain the expenditure but no income, also you are probably getting assistance from family and friends
