Prior to bankruptcy I spent a lot of money on foreign holidays. I am worried this will be considered "reckless" and that I will not be discharged after 1 year. Is this likely?

Hi,

I have just been dicharged early after 6 months and it was a real suprise. Dont worry too much over the money, the bankruptcy is an automatic discharge after one year or earlier but if they deem you 'reckless' they can give you a restriction which just means that you have the restrictions of BR but your no longer BR in the eyes of the courts.
Take Care

You will remain undischarged for up to one year. Unless the OR has decreed otherwise, you will just have an IPA (if you already have one).

The glimmer gets brighter all the time
