Posted - 03 May 2009 : 08:45:09 Release as Trustee?
Hello Please can anyone explain this letter received today from OR.
"I refer to the BO made against you in November 2008 and write to inform you that I intend to apply to the Secretary of State for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform for my release as trustee. A summary of my receipts and payments as trustee is enclosed for your information. If you are not already discharged, my release as trustee will have no effect upon the date of your discharge from the bankruptcy". --------------------------------- 1. As I am Not am I now liable to pay the £1,370.00 end of report account balance (as I am out of work and have only job seekers benefit).
2. Will I still get my 12 months discharge in November 2009.
I have reread the letter but do not understand what this letter means. Many thanks indeed.

Posted - 03 May 2009 : 12:13:39 Hi
the letter you have recieved is a copy of that which has been sent to each of your creditors.
The summary of receipts etc outlines any monies realised from your estate, the trustee's fees and any payments that will be forthcoming to the creditors themselves.
If none of the creditors object you may well be in receipt of an offer of early discharge in the next few weeks although this is not certain to happen. Of course if it doesn't you are automatically discharged on the 1st anniversary of your bankruptcy date.

Posted - 03 May 2009 : 09:09:58 I think it it just a coutesy letter to let you know the trustee has finished with your case. You will not be liable for any costs and you will still be discharged after 12 months unless you have been uncooperative with the OR and he applies to the court to not have you discharged (not likely and you'd know about it)
