As title suggests about £150 short of the £522 needed and am going to Court this Monday. It's the only day I could get off work and if i don't go this Monday I wont be able to do it for a few more weeks if not longer.

Can't source the extra £150 from anywhere, I've tried.

What are people's experiences with the OR in relation to withdrawing cash on a credit card on the day of going BR? I'm thinking of taking the £150 this way. Really did not want to do this, but might have to.

Over the last 2 months, I've not used any of my credit cards at all, as I knew I may well be heading down the BR route and did not want to run the risk of anything that would mean a BRO.

Generally deemed acceptable with OR's to nab some of the fee through a credit card (cash)? Or am I going to get grief (or worse) over it do you think?

cheers folks, i've read numerous threads about people using cash via credit cards for the entire fee and come off none the worse with the OR. Anyway, it's wait and see time, coz I am grabbing that extra cash, no alternative now.

I would say go for it. You have saved up the majority of the fee and haven't used the cards for 2 months so it should be fine. You might get a slap on the wrist from the OR but won't get a BRO based on this.
