what do i do i have just found out that the company that made me bankrupt has a charge over my house abd i dont have to pay him to clear my bankrupcy so how could he make me bankrupt his debt is secured |

hi and thanks heno yes i was told of the charge on my property as i said my trustee has told me that the person/company that made me bankrupt i do not have to pay because they are happy with the charge that thay have in place that secures the debt

Did the land reg write to you, to inform you of this charge on your property?, what ever happens, they should have advise of the charging application!.

Hi
I would take some legal advice on this, as they cannot take a charge on your property and then make you bankrupt for an unsecured debt - if it is for the same debt.
Check the land reg - it only costs £3 - and see if it is a charge or a caution as a result of the bankruptcy.
