Posted - 02 June 2009 : 16:16:14 I'm in the process of filling out my forms for bancruptcy but i'm scared although my credit rating is awful, i have been told if i dogo bancrupt i will never be able to get a mortgage ! is this correct?

That is not strictly true. You may find it difficult until the bankruptcy is taken off your credit file, but not impossible. I know in the current climate creditors are being especially cautious, but who know what the situation will be in 6 years time
