Hello

In September 2008 I moved from london to glasgow.I rented a flat through a rental agency to which six months rent plus one months deposit were paid by my company. My problem is with the lady that I dealt with at the rental agency with whom I dealt.

After six months at the end of March I hd to move into a new flat and the lady in question introduced me to a rental agency and said to save any hassle she would transfer my deposit over to the new rental agency.

Well that was two months ago and I am still awaiting the return of my deposit after continually chasing her.

Quite understanably the new lettings agents are getting fed up with waiting and have threatened to take out a county court summons against me.

She still keeps promising the money but nothing has happenned and it now transpires that she does not work for the lettings agents anymore.

I have receipts for the money so my question is where do I stand because I have not got the money to pay them.

Any advice greatly welcomed

Many thanks
