Hi adb
I understand what you are saying,
But it was you who went BR and not your wife,
I am not dischagred at the moment but if my wife had a windfall they can not take that into account,
but I could benifit from it,
The IPA is based on YOUR Income and Expenature, as you say that your wife, has no income. it is base on your income alone.
At the moment my income is lower than my expenature, but my parents have been helping me out to make up the difference,
hope this helps.
all the best

Thanks for your reply leakie ,but the problem is my new job's income is below my previous one ,but my expenses are the same if not more .how would I justify paying for the extra as the only way to afford a living now is to use my wife's current money from the house sale .I can not list expenses more than my income, could I?

Hi Abd
I don't think that you will have to include the sale of the house on your I & E as it is not an income it is a windfall for your wife.her status has not change from before
if you have a wind fall I belive you would also be able to keep it as you are disharged

All the best
