Posted - 22 June 2009 : 20:26:29 I need to petition for bankruptcy in the UK whilst now living in the US. In regards to presenting the petition to the High Court if I can not be present in the UK, can it be a friend who already has lasting power of attorney or does it have to be a solicitor? How do I find a suitable solicitor and what are their average fees for this process?
