Posted - 22 June 2009 : 21:12:23 i have debt of around 20k back in the UK and have been living in Turkey the past few years,I have just lost my job and i cant afford to send money back to cover my debts anymore and was thinking of getting a loan from a broker company to try and avoide bancrupcy and try and pay off some debt. Do you think this is a good option to take? and if i did do it and then had more problems, what would happen if i couldnt pay the broker loan?? would bancruptcy be my only option?

It is your decision as to whether you try and take out further credit to consolidate your debts.
If you have lived here within the last three years then you can declare BR. You would have to either come back to do it yourself, or appoint a power of attorney to do it for you.
