Posted - 09 July 2009 : 21:08:21 I completed my SOA online, submitted it, and printed it out to take to court. Can i amend it, if things change? Also, because i dated it, can this be altered too? I would also like to know if my husband is classed as a dependent. He's not disabled or anything, just that he's out of work and cant claim contribution based jobseekers allowance, because he's not paid enough national insurance during the year. He cant get income based jobseekers either because i work more than 26 hours a week, so he dont get no money at all! |

Posted - 10 July 2009 : 09:28:52 You can complete a second SOA online and dont submit it online, but print it in its draft form, the same happened to me and thats what my court advised me to do

Posted - 10 July 2009 : 08:55:08 The OR cannot force your husband to contribute to your I&E as he is not the one declaring BR. If he cannot contribute at the moment as he doesn't have any income then mention this to the OR. When he gets a job then you can go submit another I&E 'if' your husband is contributing. If he isn't because he has his own debts to pay, needs all of his income for travel to/from work then there is no need to submit another I&E. |

Posted - 09 July 2009 : 22:40:40 Hi Nicdavies75, Not sure if you can alter it online but you can manually alter it (is that the right phrase) up until you take it to court if anything changes in the mean time. The OR will asses your income as a whole for the household. For example, if you had 50 % of the income thaey would expect you to contribute 50 % to the outgoings before they asked you to pay anything to your creditors. If you have 100% of the income then they would let you pay 100% of the household outgings |
