Posted - 09 July 2009 : 21:22:44 Bankruptcy and car HP - we are considering going BR, we both work and need the cars for employment as work is 12miles away, one of the cars is on HP, would it be seen as preferentical treatment of a creditor if we paid off the HP ?

Posted - 10 July 2009 : 18:07:29 It may be seen as preferential treatment. You may find that depending upon the value of the car, you have to sell it anyway and buy a cheaper one.
