Posted - 22 July 2009 : 22:36:20 hi im 23 and started a small car repair business in july 08, with a £18000 bank loan. I can no longer afford to keep the business going and have about £16500 left on the loan aswell as about £2000 i owe yellow pages, and im about £3000 overdrawn. ive paid no tax yet either. im thinking of going bankrupt but don't know how to approach it. all i have from the business is a van. i dont know if going bankrupt would pay my tax too and if i need to find out how much i owe inland revenue 1st. and if i then need to un-register as self employed. i would be very grateful for any advice you could give thanks.
