I am looking at going bancrupt, I have a few bank accounts, but only use one for my direct debits and wages etc.. I do not have any debts, loans or over drafts with this bank. The account is a basic cash card account with no credit facilities will I need to fill out the details of this bank when filling in the forms for bancruptcy and what will happen to my direct debits etc..!? I am confused..

You need to put the details of all bank accounts on the SOA regardless of whether they are in debt or you use them or not.

You are allowed a basic bank account, which means that there is no overdraft or cheque book facilities. You should speak to the bank and advise them you are declaring BR and whether they will let you keep this account open. If they will then everything will continue as normal. If they won't then open a Cashminder account with the Co-op as they are BR friendly and transfer your DDs, payment of wages/benefits, etc. to this account prior to declring BR.
