I agree that you are better off trying to do the forms yourself - if you do them online you can save them as you go along, and amend them if needs be. There is always someone on here who will have the answer to your question.

As to Provident - it is up to you. You will obviously have to stop paying them at some point. You can always not answer the door when they come, or tell them the truth - you cannot afford the payments and are going bankrupt.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time

I would echo guvnor's post. You can quite literally go through the form piece by piece on this forum. Many of us have experienced them and made mistakes etc and have stories to tell I am sure. The forms are not as bad as they appear.
Can't advise on the Provident side of things but I know I stopped all my loan/credit card payments once I had decided to "bite the bullet". There are template letters that you can refer to to assist you in warding off creditors. I decided to give up my house though so I stopped all payments including secured loans. Depends on what situation you are. If you are intending to keep house etc. you would need to keep up payments on secured loans I think but I am no expert.

Hello,

Dont waste your time on an assist service unless you really really cant do it on your own. 99% of people on here will tell you the same - dont waste your money,

if you have the forms and get stuck anyone on here will do their best to help you. if you are worried click on the experts link and someone will get back to you.

Hope this helps and good luck, this is the hardest part.

Get rid of provident asap - they are nasty i belive the apr on loans is 189% !!!!!!!!!
