Hi bj

If you do not feel able to post your full asset and liability details on the forum, why not give one of the experts a call and chat it through. You have not given us enough details of your full circumstances yet to give you any decent advice

Without knowing the amount you owe and whether you are insolvent (i.e. your outgoings are more than your income) it's difficult to say whether BR is the best option for you.

If you owe less than £15 then a Debt Relief Order (DRO) may be your best option - http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/pdfs/guidanceleafletspdf/droguide.pdf

In any case you should get some professional advice from either the CAB, CCCS or National Debtline. They will discuss your present financial situation and then advise you on your best options.
