Posted - 18 August 2009 : 23:03:25 Hi evry1, I genuinely missed 3 payments on mortgage with Direct line, we've now decided enough is enough and to go br. How long have we got to save as much as we can before they repossess and we have to leave, we now will stop payments to Secured Loan with pIcture financial as well and I've been told that loan companies are quicker to reposess then mortgage companies.
I was guessing another 3 months max but confirmation would be great thanks.
Also we were going to stop all payments except for Council tax, CSA, and Insurance, would you agree? What about CCJ's, do I still pay them? |

Posted - 19 August 2009 : 09:41:28 My advice would be not to deal with Picture at all, I can also vouch that they are very aggresive and will take no notice of what you say anyway. They even rung hubby at his work, when they knew our house had been repossessed and we were bankrupt, they were wanting payment |

Posted - 19 August 2009 : 09:06:45 Hi set1077
Regarding picture financial they can be very aggressive and try and tell you that you will still have to pay if you go BR but just stick to your guns and the calls will eventually stop.
kind regards |

Posted - 19 August 2009 : 07:50:33 You will probably have about 3-6 months before the property is repossessed so plenty of time to save for the BR fee and find other accommodation.
If you are going to go BR then there isn't much point in paying any other loans unless they are secured on a car that you wish to keep. You should keep paying the Council Tax and CSA. The insurance payment depends upon what the insurance is for. |
