B178 Notice

Any advice or shared experiences welcome

We have already been told it will be an automatic discharge and as I am not working at present, no IPA/IPO - that may well change, of course if I start to earn Ł100K... gettingoutofdebt	Posted - 20 August 2009 : 18:12:51 No problem Richard, We have all been through the same process and know that it can be a bit too much at times. It took me about 6 weeks after declaring BR to start to feel 'normal' again but once the BI is sorted and any IPA is in place you will feel much better and then it is just a case of waiting for the discharge.
Housing	Posted - 20 August 2009 : 16:23:02 Hi all Thank you for the replies - it hit us on a low day and I thought I knew what it meant...BUT when you are low, you think all sorts of thisngs and this has been one of those "testing" weeks - nothing gone wrong really, simply a bit fed up - drove past the old business premises this week and a new fascia sign up - makes you think a bit!! debtinfo	Posted - 20 August 2009 : 14:08:10 never heard of a B178 notice, but the wife should be able to buy back the interest in the BTL property the same as the residential property
gettingoutofdebt	Posted - 20 August 2009 : 10:58:06 I am not 100% sure but I think this notice is registered by the OR with the Land Registry and is used to stop you selling the property until the BI has gone through.
