Posted - 20 August 2009 : 13:11:35 hi, i am currently thinking about going to declare myself bankrupt. i have debts of 25,000 to 30,000 pounds. i am bk living with my parents, if i declare bankrupt will this affect my parents house. or would it be better for me to move out, cos i am worried i will black list there house?

Posted - 20 August 2009 : 14:14:09 Bankruptcy only affects the person declaring BR and not the address so your parents credit score wouldn't be affected and it shouldn't have any effect at all on them.
