Hi Guys

I had a letter from the OR advising that we had been discharged early from Bankruptcy (less than 6 months), I was just wandering how long it takes for the insolvency site to be updated.

Also does anyone know where to get letter templates etc to send to creditors so that they update my files etc.

Thanks

Hi Guys

Thanks for all the support and advice, I cant believe that this time 6 months ago I was so worried about bankruptcy and had so many if buts and maybe's and now 6 months later I am already discharged. We managed to keep hold of the house and cars and can honestly say that the stress I had at the start has completely gone.

I would like to say thanks to the experts and everyone who contibutes to this board because I really think that it helped me along with many others to take control and make the right desicion.

I would also like to express my thanks to Paul from Reviva who assisted me everystep of the way it really is appreciated.

I will keep you updated with the progress I make with the credit agencys and hope that I can start to offer help to others just starting the journey.

Thanks again
Mark

It can take a little while for your status to show as discharged on the insolvency register after ED (AD is immediate) but your details will drop off the register 3 months after your discharge date.

Once the entry on the register has changed, make sure you print the page as most creditors will accept this as proof of discharge.

Congratulations on your ED BTW!
