Posted - 27 August 2009 : 07:56:06 Swansea and Plymouth offices are both part of what is known in the Insolvency Service as the 'South West Region' and as such it is quite common to 'share' the work within the region, so that all offices have a similar workload. Absolutely nothing to worry about the same role is performed by the staff wherever the file is dealt with (I can highly recommend Swansea, I was there for 6 years before moving to Cardiff)it has a lovely Official Receiver who is very fair and practical in his decisions.

Posted - 26 August 2009 : 15:31:28 Hi,
I can only assum,e that Swansea is less busy than Plymouth too. I went BR in May (In Plymouth) and there had already been nearly 600 Bankruptcies through the Plymouth County Court by then (That is over 100 per month in one city and surrounding area!!)
I wish you well in your dealings with Swansea and I am sure that the OR staff there will be as professional and understanding as I have found the staff in the Plymouth office to be - good luck and I am sure we will "exchange posts" over the coming weeks... Richard
