HI
My sister offered to buy BI and the OR has written to her MP1 and my sisiter is happy yo send a cheque off for me. Can she name me as the person interested in purchasing or does she need to put herself?
The house is currently joint owned by my ex husband and myself and I am the only bankrupt.

Thanks

Hi

Thanks for the response, i also emailed the OR office and they replied stating that my sister can pay and name me as the party it is being transferred to.
I am now slighlty confused, unless this means that they will be discharging me early? went bankrupt Dec 08!?!
My sister has sent her cheque off and the completed MP1, so I'm sure that i'll get some form of a reply in due course

Hi

Either she or your ex husband has to be the one purchasing as you are not able to acquire assets prior to your discharge.
