Surely by now they would have notified the bank of my bankruptcy and the account closed. Should i phone the OR about this, or contact the bank

Posted - 03 September 2009 : 07:05:40 Chances are the bank was monitoring the Insolvency Register and you details would appear on the following day of your bankruptcy.

Posted - 02 September 2009 : 20:30:36 Ok , thanks, though they were pretty quick in letting my new bank know. within a week i couldn't log on to online banking, so have got to switch accounts, as i was given the wrong account for bankrupts.

Posted - 02 September 2009 : 20:18:37 The OR can take up to 10 weeks to notify creditors as they are so busy. The additional bank charges are nothing to worry about as they will be included in your BR. You can always call the bank and tell them you are BR give them your case and OR details.
