Posted - 26 September 2009 : 11:04:13 Hi does anyone have any experience of what we might have to expect going bankrupt in Walsall County Court? They have a drop in service just wondered what the staff, judge OR was like.
Thank you

Posted - 27 September 2009 : 14:11:27 Yes, we went BR in Walsall in July, like other poster said, clerk is lovely, we didn't have to see the judge and even took our little boy to court with us as babysitter let us down.
Got phoned from Stoke office within 2 to 3 hours but transferred to Blackpool OR as Stoke are so busy.
Hope this helps! |

Posted - 27 September 2009 : 08:41:37 Hi
Thanks that is great, it helps just knowing what is likely to happen. We don't have an IVA as we do not qualify just a DMP, only one creditor.
Thank you

Posted - 26 September 2009 : 19:29:59 Hi Walsall County Court is fine Laura the bankruptcy clerk will look after you, appointments are normally before 10am you dont often see the Judge, its all done in an hour, however this Court is very strict on current IVAs so if you are in one you have to return in 21 days. The court also no longer operates the initial phone call before leaving the building the OR office is in Stoke they will call you later in the day or the following day. hope this helps |
