Posted - 30 September 2009 : 10:41:05 sorry to bring bad news, but I seriously doubt you will be able to get an unsecured loan of that amount with a bankruptcy on your/his record |

Posted - 29 September 2009 : 20:50:28 We have tried to remortage, but we cant as its with the trustee, and there are charges on the property. And there isnt enough equity in it if we pay the charges in full plus borrow the amount for the trustee..What we need is an unsecured loan for £20.000. But do not a good, not dodgy company that we can go to, as we can afford to pay £500 amonth on borrowing £20.000.I only work part time, all my husbands wages go through my account as he hasnt a bank account,And my name isnt on the mortage its just in his,So my bank cannot even lend me the money as my wages arnt brillaint,They wont take in account that its my husbands that makes my account good.. Can anyone suggest a company that does unsecured loans,

Posted - 29 September 2009 : 11:17:36 We have tried to borrow the money, but with no luck,we have no family members to ask. My husband earns good money,so we can afford the payments.£20.000 is the lowest offer the tustee will accept. And we offered the £3.000 we have saved recently to pay him and then in instalments, but he says he wants a bigger lump sum, which we cannot do. im so stressed so are my kids, one which is in the middle of exams.. My mother in law ran the company, but it was in my husbands name,as she has had bussiness before and liquidated them.. But she hasnt have to pay a penny back, even though her name is on a mortage on a big property where the bussiness was run from.Although she does not live there anymore, its being rented. Our solicitor even said she has been very lucky. Its been 5 years of this going on,dont know where to go to get a good usecured loan, could anyone suggest a company? WE are so desparet..

Posted - 28 September 2009 : 18:41:08 Hi have you taken any advice yet regarding this. Have you made any offers to the Trustee or have you looked at the possibility of raising some funds now for the Trustee with a payment plan over a very short period?
You need to get professional help now otherwise the 28 days will slip by and you will lose the house.
Please call a professional or forum expert tomorrow and have a discussion about all of the options.
