Hi
I am filling in Br forms and I have put down mortgage and secure loan payments under expenses even though we have stopped paying.
I presume I don't put down unsecured credit monthly payments which we have stopped paying and will be included in the BR?
I wasn't sure if they want to know what we pay before or after BR.

Also, when it asks about bank/credit cards I can only find cards that expiry dates have already passed for some of them and can't remember if they sent new ones, does this matter?

My husband was self employed last year for only 5 months, he didn't really earn much and I did his books for him; will the OR want to see these?

Thanks

£300 is bit steep for a credit check, we paid £25 for one. We moved straightaway, once we realised we were in trouble and had to give the house up. I wanted a house sorted out ASAP for peace of mind, we had only missed a couple of months payments to creditors and so we passed the credit check, the check that letting agents use is VERY basic and not at all like the ones that financial institutions use and I cannot see how they can justify a fee of £300 we waited for 7 months once in the rented house to save up the bankruptcy fees.

You could book your bankruptcy appointment as soon as you like, especially if there is a 4 week wait, you can be filling in the forms as you wait

Hi jane
We were planning to go br in this house.

We are looking at a rented house at the moment and we told the agent our situation and he said it wouldn't matter if we went br there.
He wants us to pay £300 for a credit check and holding fee and said we may need a guarantor which we don't have.
If we get offered it he wants us to move in mid october but we won't have the br money if we do that.
We were hoping to move in at the end of the month when my husband gets paid again.
Also the br court in Nottingham has a 4 week back log and I havn't finished my forms yet!!!

I didn't

But then we had moved out of our mortgaged house and were already renting when we went bankrupt, will you be going bankrupt in that house or a new rented one?

We are having the house repossessed but are still living in it and looking for somewhere to rent.
I'm sure I read on here that you could still put down monthly mortgage/secure loan payments even though you aren't paying them?

The SOA should reflect your I&E at the moment of bankruptcy.

Why have you stopped paying the mortgage and secured loan? If it is because you are giving the house up, then you do not list these on the SOA as you will not be paying them, you will be paying rent on whatever house you are living in at that time

If you intend to keep your mortgaged house, you should be paying the mortgage and secured loan or it will be repossessed

bank cards: just list them all

I presume the OR will want to see your husband's books
