Posted - 30 September 2009 : 21:08:28 What a croc of ****?? I went for my hearing today about being able to keep the car. I havent been able to sleep properly since 17th July this year knowing our car could be taken away. Anyway today arrived and I felt sick to the stomach. I got to the court and my assisting OR and Case Worker was there :-O - I didnt even know they would be there. I felt sick. They spoke to me and asked if I had received a copy of their case - which I had not. I read through it and noticed at the end of it that they mention a 3rd party being able to buy the vehicle. I didnt say anything as I had not heard of this being mentioned before. We were called in 10 mins late. The OR assistant introduced us all and we sat down. The DJ said "blah blah" in his language, the OR assistant said "blah blah" in her language and that was that. I walked out tearful not knowing what the hell had just happened. All I know is that it didnt go in my favour. I spoke to Case Worker and assistant OR and they explained. I sort of understood and it was because we didnt fall into the right category for the OR to get car - too much for me to explain - but basically if we can find a 3rd party to buy the car for £750 then we can keep it. Not good news really as I dont have any family or friends in that position. I have a week to sort things out. I was not told about this 3rd party but apparently my husband had - but he panics and obviously didnt understand what was said.
Im happy that its over. Im sad that we spend £60 for today for nothing. Im happy that we have a chance of keeping the car. Im sad that I dont know if we can raise the funds.
Nothing else to say really - just the fact that since going bankrupt - everything is money money money and the whole point we went bankrupt is because we dont have any money. Just hope now that things can only get better and that I can sleep.
Thanks for reading.
