Posted - 17 November 2009 : 15:51:18 I went bankrupt in june 2008 , and was discharged 7 months ago, i sent the forms back to buy the BI about 14 months ago with valuations and heard nothing, the house then slipped into negative equity , so I wasn't bothered about buying the BI anymore and never followed it up.
With house prices on the rise, should I get back in touch with the OR, or could it be it's been forgotten about after 17 months and I shouldn't ring in case I alert them to the fact they still can sell the house. I don't want to open a can of worms, if I could get away without having to pay anything.
Any Thoughts

Posted - 17 November 2009 : 23:46:25 i would check with a couple of estate agents what they value the property at and if there is no equity or neg equity and you are still interested in buying the BI back then contact the OR.

Posted - 17 November 2009 : 21:28:27 Hi Braddy,
I would certainly not forget about it - and it is highly unlikely the OR has forgotten about your property. The OR as 12 months in which to decide a course of action and 3 years to implement. I would give the OR a call to see what there intentions are.
