I spoke to the local authority , they have a rent deposit guarantee system , currently its only open to those who have been accepted as homeless priority so not available to me. No system for being a rent guarantor though.

Was there not a duty found to you?
The L/A may consider a bond - as you would be in priority need, I guess. If not what about charitable payments - CAB maybe?
