Q. I have been living with my girlfriend, I am concerned that they a bankrupcy receivor might assess her assets as mine, and claim title over these. I had nothing when I met her 11 years ago, and only contributed to rent and usual bills since I lived with her, can they make any claim over her furniture, TV, thwere is nothing she owns that cost over £1000 and most is worht mucj less, I just don't want ther to have a problem because of me

Hi

Do not worry about personal items. The OR will only be interested in assets such as a car over £2K and a property with significant equity.

Your partners possessions are safe in any event
