does council tax that is owed go in with your bankruptcy?

it is a provable debt but that does not necessarily protect them from sending baliff's if they have a liability order, if not very staightforward, yes it goes in the bankruptcy

Provided that it is a pre bankruptcy debt.

Any arrears after that date will have to be paid by you.
