I have a bankruptcy petition booked for the 11th May. I wanted to do it right away but that is the earliest the court can do.At this time my company (ltd) will be closed down as well as a result.
On my bankruptcy forms it asks if I have use of any vehicles. One of these is a leased van, this is leased by my wife seperately to myself or the business and is in her name although I use it for work. Will I still be able to use this vehicle and her continue to lease it after my bankruptcy?

Hi Marcus

There should be no difficulty with the van as it is in your wife's name.

All the best

Hi marcus

wow that is organised and the court date is a long way a way that should give you plenty of time to sort out ltd company, PG's etc

I would suggest emailing paul at reviva I know that he is very throough about making certain all of the correct paperwork is done at correct time

good luck

regards Richard

As the van is leased by your wife I don't see that there will be a problem. There is a section on the SOA that asks if you have access to a vehicle not owned by yourself and you will need to put the details there.
