I went bankrupt in oct 2008, discharged a year later. Have cleaned up my credit file, but on checking again to make sure all is as it should be on credit file a CCJ has appeared issued 16th april 2010 to me at my old address. Since bankruptcy I have paid all things on time, so I guess this CCJ is because of a lender who would have been listed in my bankruptcy. All those i owed money to were listed and receiver/trustee wrote to them all. What should i do about this CCJ? I havent received any detail/notification of this CCJ, i guess was sent to old address. Is it likely to be a case of just sending proof to the court that the debt was on my bankruptcy?

Hi,

I suggest that you send a copy of the BO to the court and a copy to confirm that you are discharged too.

Should not be a problem provided the debt was incurred prior to the BO.

Good luck, Richard

phoned the court, they asked me to tell the OR/trustee to get in touch with them and the solicitor who dealt with the CCJ So hopefully trustee will sort it out.
