Hello,

Just filling in the forms for OR to decide whether or noy an IPA is necessary.

Please can somebody tell me how much is reasonable to claim for the following (we are 2 adults and 2 children)

Dentist (we cannot get an NHS dentist so whole family is private)
Opticians (1 adult and 1 child require glasses)
Hairdessers for all of us??

Also are you allowed to claim for school meals and meals at work in addition to the £500 monthly housekeeping allowance?

Finally is anything allowed for domestic break?
Thanks :)

You need to put down exactly what you spend rather than worrying about guidelines. If the figure is high the OR may try to reduce it, but if you can justify it (special diet for example) then it shouldn't be a problem.

The only figure I can remember off the top of my head is for the hairdressers and it's £10 per adult and £5 per child per month.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

34 IPA payments made, 2 to go - not long to go now!
