I am considering going bankrupt, can you advise how long the process takes. I have downloaded the form off the net and it seems pretty straight forward. I now rent as I lost my home and I have also checked the tenancy agreement and it doesnt say anything about if I went bankrupt, will my tenancy be safe, I have just signed for 12 months. Although I did advise the agent of my financial situation.

depends on the preplanning and the local court

some courts have walk in clinics others have waiting list of 6 weeks.

court anything form 5 mins to 3 hours (total time in court building)

regards Richard
