Hiya

Its been a while since I posted on here & I hope you are all well. I am now 2 yrs into bankrupty, was discharged after a yr & into the final 13 payments of my IPA, the end is in sight!!

I have a question tho now, I am 15wks pregnant & I will be entitled to mat leave / pay when I finish here in December time, I will be returning to work after 9 months I hope. My question is when my pay drops dowm to SMP what will happen to my IPA, by then I will roughly 6 months to go?

any advice appreciated!

Thanks.

Hi, and congratulations on your great news.

You will need to speak to the OR and inform them of the position. I'm sure they will reduce your payments for you.

Buckle your seat belt Dorothy, 'cos Kansas is going bye bye.

Congratulations from me as well.

As Jan says you will need to inform the OR about your change in circumstances and they will either reassess or possibly even cancel your IPA.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 30th June 2010 - it's over at last!
