Hello again,

Had my call from the OR today and have my telephone interview on Friday 30th..gulp.

Whilst thinking about things I believe that one of my creditors listed on the bankruptcy is Abbey and I had an overdraft and a loan from them going back about 7 years ago. This was a joint bank account and loan with my husband. When we defaulted they just came after me as I was the lead name on the account as my husband was not as creditworthy.

What will happen with that now. They have never chased my husband or money only me and I have made payments to them to try to clear these debts for a number of years now. Will they write it off as a result of the bankruptcy or do you think they will now go after my husband for the money.

Also will the OR allow these debts to be included as they were in joint names?

Any advice gratefully received.

OMG so worried and not sleeping...Went Br 20th July 2010...Just the OR to face now then countdown for 1 year.

Unfortunately you are jointly and severally liable, meaning Abbey can chase your husband for the full amount.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 30th June 2010 - it's over at last!
