hi im currently £5000 in debt and i cant sell my house because ive got negative equity in my property of £10000 i only earn £250 a week and have just had a baby so i am going deeper and deeper in debt, could i be considered for bankruptcy? will i be any better of i did or will the court make me pay most of my wages every week anyway?
or would i be better off disapering?

£5k is a small amount to declare BR for, you may qualify for a Debt Relief Order (DRO) but the agencies that Charlie has mentioned will be able to let you know your options.

Do not think about trying to disappear as your debts WILL catch you with you and then you will be in more debt with the interest, etc., which will have been added on to your current debt.
