Will OR advise new Landlord?

We have managed to secure a rental property to move into in a couple of months time (while our credit rating is still intact) but plan on going BR before moving in to the new property (so from our old address). If we file at court on a date prior to the start of our tenancy agreement, is the OR still likely to need to contact our new landlord?

Does it make any difference if we file at court before the start of the tenancy agreement but the OR interview takes place after we have moved?

The OR shouldn't contact your new landlord if you move after declaring BR. They only contact the landlord to see if there are any outstanding rental payments.

It won't make a difference if you move straight after declaring BR just be sure to mention it during the OR's interview.
