i was declared bankrupt in june, since then my house has been left empty and im not paying my mortgage, ive spoken to Northern rock who keep trying to get me to sign the forms, which slyly state that i will except any shortfall! So basically its voluntary surrender of property, or repossession. What im worried about is, if i dont sign the forms, it will go down the repossession route, which is fine but this could take months and months, will it effect my discharge on my bankruptcy if northern rock drag it out, as i was supposed to be getting early discharge?
